Excuse me!

[A young girl’s face appears as she switches from audio to video. The background is moving quickly behind her. It looks like she’s running back and forth. Occasionally a pink blur appears behind her.]

I’m not sure what to do, but there’s this Pokémon and it keeps following me.

[If you’ve talked to Misaki before there’s no sign of her Swablu. Somehow she put Aoko back in her ball by mistake.]

Plus somehow I’ve lost Morse-san…

[This is a very worried look.]

I’ve been told something about battles but I’m not sure if I’m supposed to do that-

[THUMP! The gear slides a little ways into the grass surprisingly not damaged.]

Ow…

[Misaki tripped.]

[Misaki sits up and looks at the gear slightly relieved.]

I think I'm still on Route 29?

[Standing up she grabs the Gear as the pink thing comes closer.]

That's good. What kind of pokémon is following you, anyway?

If I read correctly, there is a function on our communicators that tells us what the pokémon it is, by pointing the um...pokégear at it.

Oh! One sec.

[The feed cuts out for a second while she fiddles with the gear. Two minutes later she's back.]

Hoppip....maybe it wants you to catch it...?

[Stops running again to look through her bag.]

[She fumbles and it falls out of her hand. Aoko then comes out of the ball.]

[Suddenly Aoko starts pecking the Hoppip and Misaki yelps.]

I-I'm not sure...Um, I think I read something about throwing the ball at them....? That doesn't make much sense...

What if I hit Aoko?!

[Who is still pecking the Hoppip pretty violently while Misaki looks shocked.]

Aoko come here!

[After a few more pecks Aoko comes back looking proud of herself while the Hoppip lies on the ground.]

So I throw it...

[Misaki takes a empty ball and throws it hoping that it works. She watches for a moment and then ball dings.]

I have no idea what just happened.

I'm not sure...but I think you were successful...

[Picking up the newly filled Pokeball Misaki puts it back in her bag after staring at it.]

Do you think it's okay?

I think so...? I--oh!

[There you are! Wave wave wave, runs up to you]

I'm not sure how it fits in there but L'ornn seemed fine.

[Misaki turns off the Gear looking pretty relieved.]

Aoko was pecking at it pretty hard too...

We'll probably have to stop at one of those center places for a bit to make sure it's going to be okay. But apparently that's how you catch them.
